Not sure where to start. Our so called “Lake view” was obstructed by the roof and furnaces, however, worse yet was waiting in a long line to check in only to be told to come back later, as our room was not ready. We had been traveling since 5am. When we finally got our room at nearly 5pm., we were put in a room over the fitness center and adjoining a room not soundproofed and with loud guests. We were kept up late after a long flight and lengthy delay, only to be woken up at 7am with loud noises coming from the fitness room below. Additionally, the “complementary” coffee/tea area per floor ran out of cups, creamer, and was overflowing with trash. Pool area had a total of about six lounge chairs and was dark and uninviting. Breakfast and dinner options were very limited and overpriced. Staff, with a couple of exceptions, seemed consistently miserable. Hard to believe this was a Hilton or rated anything above a 2 star hotel/motel.

I reserved two queens and was given a king . I was told I’d have to wait and see if two queens pop up. Also the sitting area near the cafe was not vacuumed with lots of stuff on the rug and an Apple core left under the couch for a day . I expected the rooms to be bigger seeing as I booked one of the higher priced rooms

My husband and I stayed at this property over the summer of 2024 and had a good experience, so we were genuinely looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, this time around was a major letdown. The hotel is clearly SEVERELY understaffed. We weren’t able to check in until 5 PM—a full hour after the check-in time we paid for. Even 4 PM is a late and somewhat unreasonable check-in time compared to industry standards, but 5 PM is just unacceptable. This could be a fantastic property again, but only if management addresses the staffing shortage. We won’t be returning any time soon.

Horrible Experience

The hotel charge $32 usd when I arrived for “incidentals” including a “pantry in the hall”. There was no choice. The pantry consisted of a water tap, and a coffee machine that was broken. I checked another floor and same thing.
