Our stay was wonderful. We had minor issues but were addressed quickly. Trash was left from last guest but once reported staff picked up within 15 minutes. We had reservation but were not seated on time, after it was brought to manger attention she was lovely and got us seated. The property is beautiful and tons of things to do for all ages. We loved our cozy cabin on stilts right on the water. Pleasantview cabin had all the privacy and views. A resort around for generations. Has Dirty Dancing vibes. Beautiful property and service. So glad we stayed!

Absolutely beautiful property with lovely gardens everywhere. The harbor staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit outdated and the food was okay for the price. The pool is fantastic! My children had such a good time.

Cottages are very old. Faucet malfunctioned and couldn’t turn water off at one point. Ac window units are dirty and room has funny smell. Beds are very soft and you fall in. No tv in rooms. Not worth what we paid for. Trampolines in water covered in seagull droppings. Limited dining options although food is pretty good. Grounds are nice and clean but not enough trash barrels.

VERY disappointing.
Booking 6 months in advance, we believed we would be given a decent room; however, the room had little resemblance to what was pictured and described on the website. The room was so small, you could hardly walk around the bed, the blinds in the bathroom were inoperable (but needed because the room next door peered into the bathroom!) the air conditioner faulty, the queen size bed uncomfortable, and the room overall needs updating. We asked twice to be moved, as we were there for 3 nights....but were told it would cost another $200 per night. Quite disappointing, and unsatisfactory all the way around. One redeeming factor is the staff, who are delightful and tried to be helpful. A renovation is needed!
