There was no window in the first room or working air vent in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit didn't work... so it was stuffy and awful. The door and most of the front wall are single pained glass onto a hallway. So, no real privacy and you can hear everyone that walks by. They told me maintenance would come tomorrow to fix the A/C. When no one came, they moved me to a new room (this time with a window). Then the power went out for hours. So, I booked another hotel and walked out. There are much better places in that neighborhood for about the same price.

Cleaning service and repairs need improvement

Had to go down myself to retrieve soap and toiletries, dirty towels twice, a bed made like a five year old once, humidity stains, etc. Overall, the receptionists were wonderful and very helpful, the same for maintenance personnel. I must say that I left the safe opened accidentally and none of the valuables or documents were touched by cleaning person.

Good location, walkable to lots of restaurants and the Recoleta cemetery. Bag storage option available. Staff were always friendly. Is ok for short term accommodation. Facilities are old and showers are questionable. In saying that, we have stayed three times. You get what you pay for.

It was a horrible experience, i don't understand how a place like this can be offer. They show pictures of lobby, and rooms are far away from they say looks like. I paid mostly fir a week an the secind day of my stay i decided to move to other place. Dont waste your money.

Keep looking, no value here

I had a tiny room in the very back of the building. The bed was so soft I felt like I was almost on the ground, my bathroom was so small when you were in the shower the taps were touching my back and the shower curtain was touching my front and the water wasn't being contained. The toilet had a replacement seat attached that didn't fit so the lid hit your back as you perched over the toilet then closed before getting upright.Glad it was only 1 night.

Flashing light in my room, bad experience

Unfortunately, I needed a fast stay on Patios de Recoleta (from 7 pm to 6 am) to get some rest, and my experience was bad. The room is pretty ok, also the bath is good. But for my surprise when I went to sleep one windows didn't have a window curtain, and this window was exactly placed in front of to the corridor with a common lamp (which was activated by sensors, or should). But the sensors in my floor were not working - according to hotel staff, it got issue one night before my stay - and the lights were flashing on/off like a party (rave party, to be more exactly). How to sleep with this? The staff informed me that it was be fixed 1 day after I leave, what for me did work, and also they didn't have another room available because the hotel was full. Why did they not inform me before my check-in? Did they think it is possible to sleep in a room with flashing lights? Indeed, I didn't sleep, and my plan o have only rest was completely abandoned. I could not rate well (I never did it before) this hotel after this experience.

This place is a scam. The pictures and description of the room is not at all the room I receive. I call Expedia and talk to them to cancel this place as soon as I arrive and to have my money back but I didn't receive my money back.

$30 for a tiny depressing room, 1.70 mt wide, single tiny bed. Overused mattress. Poor internet inside the room, and no option to sit at a table anywhere ground floor. Terrible light. No breakfast.

Not very welcoming

The first night we turned up and they denied having a booking even though we had paid and had a paper copy of the booking. After about 45 minutes (and this was already late), with a receptionist who couldn’t speak English we were found a room by another receptionist who appeared. The room was on the third floor up a narrow twisting staircase. We were given no assistance with our luggage. We had to leave early in the morning and we were puttng our luggage in what we thought was secure storage it was suggested we put them under the staircase. When I pointed out that was not exactly secure they put them in the office which is where we found them on our return. On our return we had a delightful receptionist who spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Our room on the second floor was clean but it had no window except on to the landing very high up and a skylight window above the door which let in light all the time. The bed was fine and the sheets clean but the hand towel looked dirty and the bath towels were very grey looking. There are no facilities to even make a drink.
