Very nice little hotel! It isn't a luxury hotel, but was very nice for a fair price. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean. The breakfast was smaller, but also very nice!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Mark and his family (owners) are so cordial and accommodating. We arrived early and he was gracious enough to allow us to use a room to change into our ski clothes. The continental breakfast offers so many food choices. We also had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. Highly recommend!

Adorable and quaint place to stay! The rustic decor is beautiful! Owner was friendly and very accommodating to your needs. (Love his accent!) The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choices of food and drinks. Rooms were cozy and very clean. The mountain view room was worth the little extra! Will definitely return!

We loved Brown’s Canyon Inn. Mark, the proprietor, was a great guy and helped us get a lay of the land in Salida. Very important, the coffee was excellent, as was the breakfast spread. We plan to return in the not too distant future.

Right on the main drag through Salida so convenient. Room was nice. We heard our neighbors a bit more than in some hotels but it was a weekend. Not set up for convenient phone charging (USB and a multitude of power plugs). Nice lobby ambiance. Breakfast area was small but you could always go back to your room.
