Hotel is nice but definitely not 5* good. Double bed comes with two single quilts so you end up out of the thing throughout the night and the pillows are so soft they are almost pointless. Didn’t have any towels replaced so had to go chasing for some and then only delivered one for two of us. Breakfast is good and the staff are attentive. Gym is well equipped for a hotel facility. Overall a nice comfortable hotel, just not excellent, exceptional or any other word you would normally use to describe a 5* hote.

We had an excellent stay at the IHG Budapest. The check-in staff were excellent, and the riverside location right near the chain bridge is excellent. Would highly recommend. The only drawback is that the bathroom was looking a bit tired and could do with some refreshing.

Location, location, location. You cant beat the location of this hotel in Budapest. The tram is right in front of this hotel. The metro is two blocks away. The personell at this hotel are sharp and attentive.The hotel is in very good condition.The lobby is beautiful. The only problem we had was the tub shower. The tub had unusually high sides and was difficult to get in and out of. But aside from this minor difficulty we had a lovely stay at the intercontinetal hotel.

Great hotel overlooking Danube.

Lovely hotel overlooking the Danube. Nice bar area and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Room was a really good size with a fabulous view. The only negative is that the housekeeping was poor. Room was very dusty when we arrived and daily service wasn't great. This wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel though as everything else was lovely and we thorougly enjoyed our stay.

A 4*+ hotel with excellent location

The hotel has a nice lobby. Our classic room with river view is a bit outdated, concerning furniture and bathroom. The sauna/spa was quite nice. We rate the Intercontinental Budapest as 4+ hotel, which needs renovation to be compared to modern 5* hotel.
