The hotel is very close to Liszt Ferenc Intl Airport, walking distance about 10 minutes to Terminal 2A. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable! Rooms were clean and comfy, a true pleasure to spend leisure time in them! My room was suitable for disabled persons and had a cord besides the toilet, which ones pulled triggered an distress alarm. I pulled it because i mistook it for a ventilator starter LoL. Transportation to the city is easy and costs 2’200 HUF/ 5 EUR one way and the same the way back. The bus departs from Terminal 2A Transportation from the city back to the airport is a bit trickier, but also easy once done. The bus has two stops: Kálvin Tér and Déak Tér (Terminal stop) and the ride takes about 30 to 40 minutes one way. You can reach all the major tourist attractions from the two stops. You can pay for your ticket easily at cc terminals inside the bus! All in all, Ibis Airport is a great place to stay if you want to stay close to the airport but also Budapest.

Felt like a dorm, but great proximity to airport

I chose this hotel for its walkability to the airport and its decent price. But I didn't expect it to be more like a college dorm than a hotel. The room was pretty spartan, with furniture that was cheap and minimalist. Bed was uncomfortable, and room lighting was inadequate--it was really dark, without decent overhead light. Breakfast was good, however, and front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised. For an airport hotel, this was super quiet. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, staff was friendly. The food at the restaurant was actually pretty good, although pricey. The breakfast was just fantastic with lots to choose from and it was offered from 4 am, which was great before an early flight.

Best hotel for some one who wants to stay overnight near the airport. 3 minutes walking from the terminal, without need to compromise on the quality of the hotel and the quality of the stay.

We spent one night at this hotel because of an early flight. We had a problem with the toilet in our room and rang reception. Ester came and investigated and upon request kindly changed our room immediately! She was courteous and smart enough to ensure our new room was across the hall, to make relocating luggage easier. Excellent place to stay, especially if you have an early flight. Breakfast starts at 4 am. It is very close to the airport, you can simply walk there from the hotel. It’s very convenient. Highly recommended!

Gergo at the front desk greeted us and provided a smooth and efficient check in. The property had a modern, contemporary vibe. The room and the bathroom was spacious, but could have been more lights. The aircon was a bit loud and was not providing enough heat during the night. Comfy beds, but we lacked the coffee and tea making facilities. The restaurant staff and menu were brilliant.
