Staff was too confused, from check-in, breakfast, and check-out. They seemed to be unprepared and always looking for another staff member to help them with normal day to day issues. Im used to stay at Ibis hotels but this time the experience wasn't the same. Something odd about this hotel.

I really enjoyed that this was a short walk to the metro station to get us to downtown Budapest. The buffet was the best buffet I've had during this trip through many countries, and had a wide variety of options. The staff was very gracious. The room was comfortable, and I would definitely stay there again. One thing to keep in mind is the temperature gauge is either set to heat or cool based on the time of year so we wound up switching the heat off and opening up the window just to get the room a little colder because we didn't know that and we had the cold set to high but it was actually the heat set to high.

Good stay

Had a good stay. Location is near the railway station/underground/tram stop and on a main road, so there is some noise, but it is very convenient. Also, 15 minutes walk to the castle. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and modern. Buffet breakfast was very good.
