Ok but not great

Average stay, check in was ok but room not ready, breakfast was good. Main issue was housekeeping, someone came in without knocking, also on my 2nd day they came in and made the bed but left everything else. Good location

A hotel that doesn’t belong

City break for a birthday treat. Hotel was a great choice for transport links and was well kept and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The area it’s based in was grotty/dirty with homeless people and beggars in close proximity. Not the safest of feelings when not in hotel. 25 minute walk to central Brussels and landmark areas. Restaurants and bars limited in this area so no real alternative but to make walk. Prices in hotel for food/drinks much like Brussels as a whole, expensive.
