I had an event on Jekyll Island and stayed at econolodge in Brunswick to save money. It was very clean, good condition, no problems.

I was not expecting much since this is an Econo Lodge , but I was pleasantly surprised as it is a very, very nice facility, and the manager was really an accommodating and helpful person. It was as good as many properties I have stayed at that were priced way over this one

Super Basic No frills stay

The room was weird. When you enter the room the bathroom sink was on the right outside of the bathroom. The chair and ottoman were so dirty that it should be sent to the landfill. The room had a smell to it. The room on the surface was clean and the bed linens were clean. Super basic sleeping accommodations. It worked for what I needed and okay for solo or adult traveling.

Over night stop

The hotel was ok. Needs some updates when it comes to carpet. Our room had a torn piece of carpet the someone tried to repair but didn’t have no clue how to repair it . A definite trip hazard. Also noticed carpet seam separation in the hallway. . Maybe take the time to clean the chairs with some resolve at the very least

The first room had a musty smell and water stains on the ceiling. Asked for another room which they provided. The second room was fine. Not in the best condition but about what you might expect for the price point. Overall it was ok but they could do better.
