Hotel Staff Very Courteous
Hotel staff very courteous. There was check-in issue because hotel computer system was down. Also, no secure hotel Wi-Fi network available, so had to use some other unsafe, open network from somewhere else in the neighborhood. No towel bars in bathroom, apparently on purpose. Toilet paper holder on wall was annoyingly loose. In-room safe did not work. Need printed in-room list of satellite TV channels, or else you'll be surfing the slow-moving, on-screen guide all evening looking for something good to watch (must've been at least 50 home shopping channels, which is 50 too many). Correspondingly, the TV remote control operation was hinky. Did I mention hotel staff was very courteous? The tech guy arrived to fix the safe right as I was checking out. Found someone's discarded plastic drinking cup under the night stand by the bed (cup was not one I used, so it likely was from previous guest, I guess). No ice machine found on second floor of the 2-floor facility. Noise from heating/AC unit under window in my room drowned out the sound from the television. And, man, that cumbersome satellite TV system has got to go!

Initial check in experience was not unfriendly, but certainly not welcoming. Later, when we had an issue with our TV, the staff member on duty responded quickly and effectively. The property is lovely, both in the lobby and outside. The pool and outside patio area are both very nice. Our room, although small, is comfortable and very clean.,

Great staff!
Customer service definitely makes this a great place. Its an older building, so you get what you get, but everyone that worked there who spoke to my 4 year old son made him feel like an old friend. He even wanted to have waffles with the nice desk lady the next morning. Wonderful people!

Sailing the Lynx St Simons
Nice large room. Clean and comfortable bed. Main living area light switch broken and phone had no dial tone. Fire alarm went off that night and we could not get through to on site office only central booking. Took 20-30 minutes till racket stopped but thankfully no fire. Full breakfast including cappiccino machine was good.

The staff were wonderful and so sweet! We enjoyed every second of our stay. Close to the beach, restaurants, a wonderful pool with a hot tub (big hit for me and my boyfriend) we would highly recommend staying here. We cannot wait to get back to our home away from home!

Just what it should be.
Our stay was great. The property was conveniently located and very well laid out. The pool and hot tub were well kept and beautiful. The staff were great and very nice to interact with. I would stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Great location - not the cleanest
The facility amnesties were great. Area was safe. However, rooms were the cleanest. Dresser doors were broken. The air vents needed major cleaning. The sliding barn door didn’t shut all the way making bathroom use ackward with several others in room. Stains on walls. Sand in tub, stains on bedding.

The pool area was very nice. The room was quiet. Animals are allowed. The breakfast was very good. There wasn’t much right around the hotel but you could drive 10 minutes and find things.
