Another good stay at my go-to in the area
I always stay here when I’m in the area visiting family. I noticed the cleanliness level was excellent in the room. I did not use the hotel amenities this time, but I did take advantage of the free sugar cookies they offered in the lobby (a nice touch)! I was a little sad to see they got rid of the book borrowing library in lobby…maybe they did so for covid reasons but it was a nice, homey amenity that many hotels do not have and it will be missed. I stayed in a suite this time on the second floor which the only thing I say is there is large amount of space in the room that isn’t really properly utilized. It’s a weird layout but if you like having a sitting area to read or chat, it makes sense to book it. Otherwise, the other basic rooms’ amenities are just as good and those spaces feel more inviting/cozy/warm.

Very nice pool and spa area but you had to go and get the front desk person to let you in. It was nice though that it was open like 6am-11pm. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was only so so but what you'd expect at this affordable price range

We stay here every Thanksgiving. It’s near our family. The facility though older is well maintained. The breakfast is very good for this level hotel. We will be back.

The room was nice, seemed clean. Just have to remember to bring my own pillows next time; like all these hotels, they now have the tiny square pillows. Bed was comfortable. Room stayed nice and cool, but the heater worked well when you switched it on, heated the room quickly. Just don't stay near elevator if you don't have to. The room we were in was direclty across from the elevator, and we were awakened by 2 different groups at 3:30am speaking so loudly it sounded like a tv was switched on at high volume. The surrounding area is a little sketchy, but the hotel seemed fine.
