I recently stayed at OYO The Regency in Clifton, Bristol, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I booked my stay, there was no clear mention that the bathroom would be shared. This was a major inconvenience as I was expecting private facilities, especially given the price I paid. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find out about the shared bathroom situation, which was not made clear at the time of booking.
To make matters worse, when I reached out to both OYO and Expedia for a refund or any sort of resolution, I was met with unhelpful responses. Neither company took responsibility for the lack of transparency, and they refused to refund my money. This lack of customer service, coupled with the misleading booking details, made the entire experience incredibly frustrating.
The lack of proper communication and the unwillingness to rectify the situation left me with a very negative impression. I would strongly advise potential guests to double-check the details before booking, as transparency seems to be an issue here. Unfortunately, due to the overall poor experience, I cannot recommend this property.
