Our balcony room had a great comfortable bed but the bathroom was a bit dated. Shower over the corner bath with a shower curtain - awkward and slippery base. Dinner in the restaurant was great - food and staff excellent.

On arrival we checked in and rushed up to the rooftop bar for an amazing view of Brisbane at night. We had been informed of this spot through emails after we had booked our stay. We enjoyed a lovely dinner up there too. The rooms were big with two balconies. The bathroom was large and the shower hot and strong. We also enjoyed the huge buffet breakfast with many interesting, fresh options. Parking was underground.

Aircon in the rooms was so loud on lowest setting it couldn’t be on at nighttime, it was like having a plane take off in the room. Windows appear to only be single glazed which means you hear all the road noise, all night. The area is convenient and staff are lovely, but the property is itself is in a poor state.

The Point is a very good hotel with dining options and very good room service. A two minute walk to the free ferry service that operates on the Brisbane River and allows you access to other parts of Brisbane.
