I booked this room for my partner and I as a suprise for us both however the date of the stay was wrong by 1 night and the hotel refused to amend the date. So we are out of pocket $250 and never got the night away that we desperately needed. I will never recommend this place to anyone after how unhelpful they were.
To not alert people that there is construction happening around them which consists of earth drilling from 6am is simply unfair and abuse of someone’s experience staying in a hotel - terrible
The property was neat & tidy, easily accessible, staff were nice, parking was a bit expensive though. There was loud construction across the road during our stay, which we were only informed of on arrival. Would have been nice to be offered earplugs or at least given notice about the noise prior, so we could be prepared. Otherwise it was a nice hotel.
Construction zone across the street with jackhammers starting at 6am - nothing posted on website and nothing said at check in. A letter greeted me in my room announcing the issue. Looks like this project will be ongoing for at least 2 years so be warned your sleep is over at 6am.
The stay was good, though I would have appreciated being advised of the ongoing noisy construction adjacent in advance (rather than by a paper info print out in my room) so I could make a better informed decision about my stay. The excavation can be heard through the shut windows.
