The property overlooks the park and is in a quiet location so no noise when trying to sleep. Great to walk into the park or go the other direction and hit the shops and restaurants. Room was good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel is charming and comfortable, with its older architecture adding a unique character. Its location is highly convenient, being close to everything, and the nearby botanic gardens offer a peaceful atmosphere for guests. Both the breakfast and dinner services were good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This property is so central to shopping and cafes restaurant and having the botanical gardens to walk around magical. I have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again the staff are great and rooms are clean tidy and very comfortable always enjoy my stay here

Location is great opposite botanical gardens and short walk to the mall. Didn’t have the 2 complimentary drinks at the bar and water bottles in hotel as last time which was a little disappointing as that was a nice touch. Overall a decent hotel and enjoyable stay.

The bathroom temp looks and is great. The rest is somewhat tired looking. The bed was super comfy. It was lovely overlooking the gardens and to open the door to the balcony. As this was a shared balcony it was noisy till late and in the morning. Next time I would not have this room. Glad I bought it at a cheaper price because of its use by date.

We booked 3 rooms and arrived early on that morning. We had sent an email to request early check in (as we took an overnight flight to Brisbane). The staff is so friendly and helped to arrange 2 rooms so we could have a quick rest and before we headed out.

Royal on the Park boasts one of the most beautiful locations in Brisbane with the Botanical Gardens opposite the building. I stayed in 5 hotels across my stay in Australia and this one easily took the top spot. I felt welcomed during my stay and given a great room with a view of the park. The reception also offers a range of fun products and souvenirs to take as a memento. The swimming pool was a little too cold for me to want to go in and the hot tub wasn’t hot but was still warm and comfortable to sit in. Those were my only two nitpicks. Otherwise the experience was wonderful, I would definitely come back or try to encourage my family to stay here if they ever visited in future.

Lovely hotel - terrible night sleep,
Lovely hotel, opposite Botanic gardens, good breakfast, but terrible night sleep. From 11pm until 1.40am our attempts to sleep were constantly disturbed by nearby talking and opening and banging shut door. Guests in the room opposite kept coming and going but I discovered our room on the 4th floor was adjacent to the 24hr Guest Laundry Room that was in constant use until 1.30am. Reception couldn't guarantee there wont be repeated visits to the Guest Laundry Room through the night. I had to be up at 6am for a video conference call - so not good. After repeated complaints to people using the laundry room and to reception, they eventually moved us to another room at 1.45am and were very apologetic. It sems a mistake to inappropriate to locate the 24hr Guest laundry room next to guest rooms on the 4th floor.

We were very pleased. The place is a little tired but in a comfy way. Next time I’ll book an accessible room because I found the shower over the bath a bit difficult but that’s a “me” thing. Not a fan of the entirely unnecessary big screen in the lovely old bar, which is also a “me” thing”.
