Very good value for money and very close to the Queen St mall. Also close to train station and City Cat ferry jetty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel looking dated but rooms and bathroom are both quite smart. Buffet Breakfast was good. Things that were not as good: the tv that kept on switching off and the carpet that requires a deep steam clean as it did have an unpleasant smell about it. Otherwise hotel was very good.

We made the right choice to stay at Ibis Styles on Elizabeth Street due to its convenient location. Everything you need is nearby, including a shopping mall on the same block and many dining options. We could easily take a bus to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Taking an Uber from and to the airport was also easy, despite our late arrival and early departure. One downside was that we couldn’t use the washing machines in the property. We were told they would be fixed the next day, but we didn’t know if they would be as we only stayed there for two nights. Overall it was a nice choice. We'll consider staying at Ibis Styles again when we visit Brisbane.
