A good hotel in an excellent location. It’s on-site parking ($35/night) needs to be added to the room’s price if you have a car. Getting to the on- site parking is a bit challenging.

Ideal for my 2 ight stay - so close for walking to everything; room was fine, may be a bit cramped for 2. Carpet badly stained ln one area, mattress a bit tired.

The George Williams Hotel is located in the center of Brisbane CBD, at walking distance from most of the Points of Interest in the area, and just 5-10 minutes from the Central Station, which makes it really convenient if you come from the Airport. The staff was attentive and nice, in my case offering to keep my luggage until check-in was possible, which allowed me to explore even more parts of the city. The only so so detail for me where the noise in the rooms for 2 reasons, the mini bar, which was enclosed in a wardrobe overheating all the surrounding area and what I suppose is some kind of air conditioner device just outside my room. The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable enough to get a good rest despite the noise.

Got a deal here, Saturday night for $160. Paid for all weekend parking at Wilson for only $13. There are early check in and late check out options at $20 each. Stayed in room 106. Tiny place with no opening windows. No views to speak of. Hotel was nice and quiet. Place was clean and tidy. Only used to sleep overnight while we were out in the town. Good location as very close to QSM.

My room was not serviced, filthy net curtains, stained carpet. I wonder if they are ever checked. I wish I had courage to ask for a refund and change to a cleaner hotel. Not worth the money I paid per night. Bath towels were provided, but no hand towels.
