Overpriced. Staff, especially in the dining room (woman maître d) unfriendly and unhelpful. Room clean. Beds very comfortable but extremely small - overpriced for what was on offer. Pool not useable on check in due to private function - should have been advised when booking. Woken overnight several times by phone in room ringing - a glitch in system. Not offered any kind of actual apology. Shane as this could have been a great place to stay but overall not impressed.

I was given a room close to the lift lobby area which was very noisy and I couldn't sleep. Fortunately I requested and was moved to a quieter room. The hotel is close to Central Station but the walking route was a little convoluted.

Greeting was very cold! Couldn’t find our booking bit of a muck around really. Room was out standing! Beautiful style and condition, same as the rest of the hotel. Window did leak and the was no hotel information, called reception for information they said it was on the tv, but there is also no information stating that in the room ether? Ordered room service as it was my daughters first time staying in a hotel, the meal that turned up was really average with parts missing! disappointed and expensive. I do have a picture if required..

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. The location was perfect, a literal 3 minute walk to train station and the Free Springhill Loop bus. The room was spacious and comfortable, iron, board and hairdryer provided. A good selection of teas and coffees for a quick afternoon cuppa. We had an adjoining room and the door was not quite noise proof and same of the front door. We found the noise from other guests carried quite easily. Also, we could hear showers and toilets when flushed. Our only true negative would have to be our late night order from the overnight menu. We had 2 lasagne which were maybe 1/4 of a portion for 25$ each. Very small and just warm. Overall a good experience for my first time in Brisbane. I would stay at Amora again, maybe a little further from the lift to avoid noise from guests congregating there.
