Great view, great amenities, excellent service, awesome location and welcoming employees. I had a fantastic time at this hotel and they went above and beyond to ensure that my visit to Brighton was amazing and memorable. Definitely will be back and will stay here again in the future.

Great stay - will be back

Had a lovely stay at the Leonardo as a solo guest. Only stayed for one night, but enjoyed every second of it and wish I had booked longer! The executive sea view room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was a chilly February evening, so watching the sunset from the cosy armchair in the warm room was a treat! There is a main road outside the rooms with a sea view. I was fortunate enough to stay at the Leonardo when this road was partially closed for maintenance, so I can’t comment on how noisy it would be usually. The Leonardo Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. I requested a few toiletries from their directory, which were brought up to my room within minutes - good service! In terms of location, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The beach is directly opposite the hotel. Lots of little streets to explore on foot within a few minute’s walk, with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. Overall, a great stay for a short break in Brighton!

The Leonardo hotel is known and benefits from its name. It seems that staff are not as committed. There is a reticent about this hotel due to it ease in attracting customers. what I found disappointing were 2 things: Firstly, we couldn't get into our room until after 4pm. Given we were only staying one night, I thought that was poor. Secondly, I forgot my charger. a multi-charger. I on arriving home called the hotel to report this. I filled in a form to be told that housekeeping didn't find anything in the room. This is rather strange as the room is shut on leaving so no one except housekeeping would have access. It's the inconvenience and the lack of any desire to help and this seems a theme through how this hotel is run. Not sure I'll be returning sadly.
