Good location. Helpful staff. Clean.
Room was basic, not too small and clean. Had all you needed for a short stay. Location very good - in the heart of shops in central Brighton.
This hotel is located in a prime position. Not far from the station. A very short walk to the seafront and situated amongst the leading shops. If you are looking for value with a good buffet breakfast too then this hotel is a good choice.
This was my first visit to Brighton, I chose this hotel because of the good reviews, price and location. It did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was facing out on to a quiet street at the back. It was clean and well equipped. The shower and the breakfast were excellent. The hotel is a short walk from the seafront, the station and The Lanes.
I was able to leave me luggage at the hotel (not everywhere does this) whilst I used up the last few hours before I headed home.
I will return to Brighton and I will certainly book this hotel again as it is really good value and is an excellent base to explore Brighton from.

Do not book
I had the worse nights sleep. Some rooms face a courtyard therefore, you can hear fellow guests conversations and music playing into the early hours. The generator goes off every couple of minutes. The room was dirty. Flooring seemed like it had not been cleaned for months as my white socks were black.
Noisy extractor fan.
Doors slamming waking you up. Walls not soundproof so you hear everything.
I felt like I was staying in a halls of residence rather than a hotel.
Reception staff were friendly s d quality of towels were good.
I would never return to this hotel even if they offered a free nights stay.
Basic facility, okay for one or two nights. Breakfast was no better than going to a coffee shop… in fact GO to a coffee shop, as the coffee machine was not working. Price must have been raised for the marathon…. would have been okay if the facility meet the cost. Overal, one night stop over only!
Overall a good hotel for the money. The bed is a little uncomfortable but the hotel is very clean. The laundry facility was a good touch though make sure to walk to Poundland or Sainsbury as they dont sell singles. The drier needs two cycles to dry clothes but still fine. Staff were exceptional and were always willing to help.
Didnt have a chance to grab breakfast but the hotel is next to some shops and fast food establishments.
There isnt any carpark but if you book with Brighton Regency Mews you can park for £21 for 24hrs vs their reccomend spot which is £35.
Functional yet comfortable. Bed was beautifully made. Breakfast includes a hot English buffet, toasting facilities, orange juice, apple juice, muffins, pastries, jam and cereal - great!
I was very pleased with the rooms, breakfast, and overall professionalism. Having stayed at Queen Mary the night before, I found the staff here to be exceptional in comparison—amazingly polite, respectful, and attentive. The breakfast was also outstanding.
I only wish I had booked this place for both nights. A truly excellent experience!
Good value for price, close to shopping, restaurants, and up the hill form the beach. A few too many homeless men and shady-looking groups of men near the entrance. It's not the hotels fault, but it can be worrisome for solo female travelers.
The room really impressed me. As a disabled person these days hotel showers are pretty hit and miss for me. But when I saw this was a disabled friendly bathroom I practically jumped for joy. Needless to say that shower was absolute bliss. Will be keeping this place in mind for future stays in Brighton. Well done Britannia Study Hotel.
Oh the breakfast was lovely too.
Very clean and organized room. The staff was also immediately accommodating and responsive with any questions or worries I had via WhatsApp. The included breakfast was also lovely and the staff there were extremely kind and gracious to let me eat even though I came right after closing.
