The hotel was beautiful however our issue was when we got to the room it was super hot, dry and stuffy.. the hotel management only allow us to keep the room at 74° when the room was already 80°+ . For some reason we weren't allowed to adjust the ac unit to get the room cool down. When I texted the staff about the issue they told me to open the window which we could only open so much due to safety reason. Felt like we were in a smoker due to the near by fire which created horrible sleeping conditions.

Super Facility

Great property near Cedar Breaks. This is a ski resort so the summer rate was wonderfully low. The room was spacious and clean. I put it on my list of places to come back to. Kevin was helpful and friendly.

The available food was so limited. And so bland. staff very friendly. Bummer not to have real milk for coffee. And terrible music, and too loud. Very sad about the laundry too. Lodge is beautiful, setting is beautiful.

Air conditioning didn’t work in one room. I needed to cancel the second night, and let them know upon check-in. They said to work back with Expedia, which I understood, but then the hotel never answered their call when they tried to work back directly with them. All of the vending machines were empty/dark, as well as the convenience store so you couldn’t even get a bottle of water for your room.

Bored and inhospitable front desk attendants, stale overpriced and tasteless food at the lift, slow service. Room left much to be desired with stained sheets, what looks like dried blood on the shower curtain, and a found silicone nipple cover on the floor. Also we did not have control over the room temperature. Would not stay here again.

Give me a working bathroom light switch

After an 8 hour driving day (and being sick) I just wanted to check in and go to bed. Check in was an issue because the property attempted to charge us before we arrived (we chose pay at property) and also used the incorrect credit card). So that needed to be straightened out. Finally we received our room keys. My friend was on the second floor and I was on the third. We are on a 6 week road trip so have lots of luggage, etc. My friend kindly offered to help me get my luggage to my room. We were relieved that there was an elevator. So we loaded up the luggage cart and went up to the third floor to find my room. Then what seemed like a cruel joke; there are stairs going up another level to my room on the third floor (did I mention I didn’t feel well and just wanted to go to bed?). My friend helped me lug my suitcases, etc. up to my room. The room was nice but no ice compartment in the refrigerator and the closet doors wouldn’t open. I called the front desk and the clerk offered to move my room (back to the elevator accessible level). I had to move all of my luggage to another room. Got into my room and tried to turn on the bathroom light but it didn’t work. I walked back down to the front desk and explained the issue. The clerk came up to my room and finally got the bathroom light on. I figured I would just leave it on for my entire stay but it turns off automatically. Having a bathroom light switch that works should be a given. The clerk gave me all kinds of

The hotel entrance that we primary used (closest to our room) was untidy, with spilled candy on the floor that wasn't cleaned up during the 2 nights/3 days we stayed there. Otherwise the hotel was clean, and our beds were clean and comfortable. However, several things didn't work, and it seems that the management is not keeping up on maintenance. The TV in our room wouldn't connect, and the remote was not functioning. (Probably needed new batteries.) The cover to the AC was not fully mounted. The showerhead leaked severely from the head before coming out of the sprayer, making the spray a limp drizzle. The staff were helpful, but we had to wait every time we went to the front desk, sometimes with a sign that said "We'll be back soon." Felt like a nice hotel where the management was skimping on maintenance and staffing.

The property is nice. The staff was indifferent. There was no regular sugar and the bathroom door didn’t close. The vending machines didn’t work so there were no drinks. When guests show up after the restaurant is closed you would think there would a working vending machine. There are stairs on the floor between the elevator and guest rooms that inhibit you from putting your luggage on a cart to or from your room. You have to park the luggage carrier at the top and then walk back and forth to load and unload. Very inconvenient.
