Smelly, Pet Stained Carpet
We were surprised with a $150 non-refundable pet cleaning fee upon check in. All floors in our villa were tile except for the bedroom. The carpet in the bedroom had numerous large pet stains throughout the room. The pet fee is supposed to be a cleaning fee, however, it is obvious they did not clean the in pet stains in the villa they rented to us. It was not possible for housekeeping to miss seeing the stains. There were numerous spots that very clearly occurred over an extended period of time. Also, you must bring your own potty pick-up bags, as they don't provide those either. Our villa didn't have a tub as advertised. There are amenities on the property, but you have to drive to get to any of them. Restaurant was closed the entire time we were there, as well. Poor experience.

It’s a fake fireplace made from paper, a fan and a lightbulb. The blinds don’t exactly close all the way. The bathroom is out of date even for cabin style standards and not very clean. The tile floor was funky, the pillows stink, the closet door was broken, the microwave doesn’t work…the towels were all stained, there was blood on the comforter… what else? Expedia and Microsoft were no help at all.

You can hear your neighbors through the walls.
The place was very clean and in a good location. Bed was comfortable, but you can hear the people in other rooms beside you and above you walking and shutting doors. We did not have a window to look out of in the living room area, and no place to relax on deck because it was a walkway for everyone.

Didn’t realize this was a TIME SHARE property. We were attempting to be “sold” frequently. Rooms around us were LOUD late into the night. Needed to make bathroom repairs ourselves. Stayed multiple nights, but only enough coffee, shampoo, etc. for one night at a time. No breakfast available (without a “tour of the property” or sales pitch). Received MULTIPLE TEXTS per day from property-“are you enjoying your stay?”

The only issue we had was the hot water. I guess everyone in building 37 shares a hot water tank. I had to wait about an hour for it to warm up so I could wash the soap out of my hair.

The facilities and nearby areas were very nice, as well as the staff member who checked me in. Unfortunately, the staff that I encountered getting my parking pass were not as helpful. There were 3 people behind the counter and when I walked up the gentleman in the middle just looked at me as if he did not know what I was there for. When I told him that I needed a parking pass, he told the lady next to him that it was her “turn”. She then just sat there looking at me instead and instead of assisting she just sat there. Finally, the 3rd gentleman helped me with my parking pass and he was the only helpful person out of the 3. Considering that I was staying outside of the main building and this was really the only time that I needed to interact with the staff, I would have hoped that they would want to make it a positive experience, but I guess not.
