It’s what we expected from a holiday inn express however the air conditioning unit in our room was far too noisy even when on its lowest speed, so we had to turn it off and then the room got far too hot. We couldn’t have the window open due to the noise of the traffic, therefore neither me or my wife got much sleep at all. Also there were some very inconsiderate noisy guests in the corridor outside our room in the early hours of the morning.

Fabulous, yes the rooms could do with a little updating and certainly the step up to the shwer in ny room may be an issue for others but its a great place to stay with the dog on travels. If you are with a dog, Cambridge services dont allow dogs inside but Rugby services is better and does. The staff at this HI werre all btilliant and breakfast has a good range of hot and cold options.

The hotel was clean throughout. The room was a good size and again very clean and nicely prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful. A minor issue with the showerhead was noted and I'm sure will be fixed

Great location just of A120. The staff are super nice and helpful. Always helping with a smile. The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. The breakfast is varied and very nice, with a Gluten free range. Also a lovely little bar for a cheeky little drink after a long day. Non alcoholic drink also available. I enjoyed my stay. It was clean, the room was spacious and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. I was only disappointed as we had been given a room with twin beds as opposed to a double bed. I’m pretty sure I selected that option on checkout but apparently not as I was informed by staff that I had selected a standard room which meant it could be randomised.

Very nice hotel, but traffic can be loud.
Nice, clean hotel, excellent breakfast buffet selection, from full English items such as sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes etc., all well cooked and from high quality products, to a range of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, croissants, jam, toast, fruit juices, selection of coffees etc., etc. Very, very nice. Nice and clean hotel, good friendly staff, lots of free parking, really easy access off of a dual carriageway, well positioned location. Tea and coffee options in your room, as well as kettle, TV, ironing boards and irons, shower gel, shampoos and the like. All in all, a good choice. There were some downsides though. Rooms need a microwave and fridge - seriously, it's 2024 - these are as basic a requirement as a bed! Being able to keep food or liquid chilled is important, and many people need a fridge to keep medical items cool. Secondly, there was a LOT of traffic noise in the early hours, from 4am or 5am onwards, where numerous commercial vehicles and their drivers head out on an early start. Where they leave the hotel property to join the main road, there is a camber and slope, meaning there was a high amount of revving of engines and air brakes, to enable them to avoid stalling the trucks. It was quite a hot night, so we had to have the window open, meaning the noise was LOUD for us. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the windows were closed, but our experience was based on having them open due to the heat.
