I stay at great Victoria hotel two nights every month and I can honestly say never ever been disappointed with this hotel
The staff are excellent the rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable
Bathroom facilities are lacking for a 4 star hotel.
Basic provisions not available e.g tissues; no iron; no slippers or robes

Window in the room would not shut, so very cold. I was given another room - executive room. Curtains were torn, room in general whilst big was tired. Chair stained and grubby. The heating made a dreadful noise. All that said i slept very well and would stay again at the right price

Disappointing
It took ages at Reception to get booked in. We booked the Penthouse over a year ago - however after taking my payment and being given a very tiny room we went back to Reception. They blamed Hotels.com and there was a wedding so the Penthouse was taken. Could we leave it a few hours as they were busy with the wedding. We were stuck in this tiny warm bedroom waiting. They eventually came to see us to apologise but it was not their error - they blamed Hotels.com. We could have the Penthouse free of charge at a later date or a partial refund. So we were stuck in this warm bedroom - not even moved to a better room. After then standing on a false nail on the floor it just made my weekend. I would not come here again.
I stayed here as i was attending a wedding on site, this was amazing and the staff who served us all day was amazing,
But Didnt have the best night sleep as mattress had a dip in it, both sides so it was raised in the middle for an Executive Room i thought it would be a better mattress' the room was fine for 1 night stay

My first of many visits to the hotel, the room was very clean and spacious with a lovwly bathroom with bath available.
Friendly staff throughout the hotel.
They even cater for people with special requirements in regards to food and drink as they had soya milk available at breakfast which is great for me.
Will be back again and again
A hotel with such amazing character! Everything from the reception to the room was lovely. The lady on reception and the people on room service were so friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here and will 100% choose this hotel again. The parking was also a breeze
