Although I gave 3 stars for the property condition it was only because the ceiling in the pool and hot tub area desperately needs some attention. Other than that I give 5 stars across the board for the hotel! We had 2 dogs with us and 3 kids and they appropriately placed us in the most convenient place for us, easy to walk the dogs and access our vehicle without having to disturb the other guests around us. The staff was so friendly and amazing. They were very helpful in finding nice places to visit and dine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Rib and Chop House to eat! While the hostess was amazing the food was TERRIBLE and they didn't even do anything about it! Should have inquired about that place with the staff at Econlodge! If you are looking for a getaway on a budget that is definitely family and pet friendly I definitely recommend Econolodge Livingston! We will definitely be booking them again next time we go that way!

A big NO...

we chose this hotel while traveling on icy roads after an 8 hr drive on icy roads, stressed, tired, stiff and sore. Looking forward to a soak in the hot tub. Hot tub out of service!!! This needs to be stated on web site! I couldn't call due to poor service. The remote control for TV was sticky, gross, caked with god knows what. There was something growing in the juice drain at breakfast, call before you go!!!

It was a newly renovated hotel, very nicely done! Light blocking shades, clean!, nice flooring and bedding. Fridge and microwave worked well. The only thing I would have added it a port for two plugs or usbs by the bed for charging two devices.

First room was a conjoined room, neighbor was loud and could hear everything, bedsheets were dirty as if someone stepped on it, bathroom had paper on the floor, girl at the front desk was nice and gave us a different room but the bed comforter smelled BAD like it wasn’t washed in weeks, smelled like sweat. Breakfast was great
