We came here for our first trip to Boston and fell in love with this hotel! First, let me say to ANI, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Ani made the entire experience a 5 star plus experience. From the time we walked in the door, to the moment we checked out she was an absolute gem! It was my moms birthday so we stayed for 3 nights. The hotel had a special dessert and card waiting for her in the room. Dog friendly place with a really good walkable score. Hotel is beautifully decorated! And super clean! Rooms are very spacious and the entire staff was incredible! Overall 5/5 experience.

Dreary decor and "destination" charges

The hotel appears to be quite new. Everything is very new, clean, and fresh. The decor is, however, a rather dark and dreary brown-grey and with dark metal semi-industrial accents. The sleeping room lights were few and dim, which made a dark decor even darker. Thankfully, the bathroom was well lit. After I booked the hotel emailed me that there would be a $50 per day "destination" charge automatically applied to my bill, from which they'd deduct any food and drink purchased in the hotel. This fee was not disclosed ahead of time, nor could it be waived. The location is a short 2 blocks from the subway and there's plenty of shopping around.

Wonderful Service

My Family and I traveled with our two small children. The ease of moving around the hotel and surrounding area was easy to navigate. There is much to see and visit. The valet service was prompt and helpful! Lastly, I forgot a clothing item and live out of state. The receptionist was helpful with coordinating the pickup from FedEx and I received the shipment within a few days.

Beautiful historic property just outside of Boston located adjacent to public transit with plenty of shopping and dining options along with a CVS, Trader Joe’s and lq store all in the same plaza. Love that the daily fee provides MBTA passes for 2, a $24 daily food and bev credit and free app to one of the restaurants across the street, insanely comfortable beds, dog friendly, spacious rooms, rainfall showers. Friendly staff and excellent service-ability to text the desk was a nice touch. My fridge didn’t work but I didn’t need it, and the only ice is on the 2nd floor so just something to be mindful of! Would absolutely stay again
