It was not very good experience. The hotel is old, the walls are thin and there was a lot of noise on the floor. The shower was broken. The staff was not friendly. Overall, there is a disconnect between the quality and the price.

The location is perfect and the staff was super accommodating and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. While the property is historic with plenty of character, it has obviously been well maintained and modernized over the years. Being just down the street from the Logan Express Back Bay stop, it is convenient and inexpensive to and from the airport.

Classy and comfy place in the heart of Boston. Recommend popping into the Map Room at the Boston Public Library (right next door) for pre dinner cocktails and appetizers before a night out.

I really liked staying here. The staff was great. The folks at the desk, the door person, the bell persons, etc. What I didn't like was the room I was given, which was right next to the elevator. The elevator is old and noisy and I got no sleep literally.

This is a VERY nice hotel! I travel quite a bit, and I was very impressed with staff professionalism, cleanliness, and ambience. It is also walking distance to trains, shopping, dining, buses, etc. Very convenient, and a good price considering the location.
