The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The room was of adequate size for two and the bed was comfortable. Their special touches for those visiting during the marathon made the stay even more impressive.

Nice boutique hotel. Room does not have fridge or microwave, but these are provided upon request. The only issue reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for Property Condition and Facilities was the the ice machine on 5th floor was broken and they had some type of water leak in several rooms on floors 2-7, so there was work being done and there were dehumidifiers in the halls and rooms that they were being repaired.

Very close to everything for the Boston Marathon. You can walk everywhere you need to go. Staff went above and beyond for customer service. The complimentary snacks and water bottles in the room was an amazing touch. Also they give gifts to the runners of the marathon. If they dont have something in your room you would like (mini refrigrator) , ask the front desk and they will quickly have it to you. Amazing service.

The employees at the Godfrey all bend over backwards to make your experience here amazing. The rooms are well appointed and have all the extras that you don't find most places any more outside of BNBs. The only drawback we found here is the pillows were thin and soft. The bed itself was great. The location and bar and nearby restaurants were fabulous. We will absolutely return!
