The Godfrey was a great place to be for a two night stay in Boston. The property is located in the Downtown Crossing area of the city - pedestrian friendly, lots of shops, adjacent to the Common - nearby to multiple T stops allowing for easy access to any area of Boston. While the area is bustling, our interior room was quiet, although the subway could faintly be heard and felt. The room was very clean and had adequate space. The water, snacks, and coffee were appreciated. While the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were awful. The room got rather toasty, but thankfully we were able to turn the air on. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off on our second night, but it was handled well, and it was out of the property's control. Having stayed at various locations in downtown Boston, I would definitely stay here again, but encourage self parking to save money.
