I loved the hotel itself, but the service and management is seriously lacking. I flew into Boston late one night, but had a reservation for that night. Due to weather conditions, I could not make it into Boston that night so I called the hotel and asked them to push my entire reservation by one day to which they promptly replied no. They wouldn’t entertain any accommodations for me, which left a bad taste in my mouth. When I finally got to the hotel to check in, I voiced my displeasure with the hotels hospitality and cooperation with me, or lack thereof, and they quickly rerouted the conversation and did not want to hear my honest feedback. I called down and asked for multiple things to be brought up to me, things which I eventually had to go down and get myself because they were never delivered. At one point, I called down and asked the desk about their wine selection and talked about what we were looking for, but was met with dismissal. To be more specific, I asked “which wine do you have that is sweet, similar to a moscato? I don’t want a dry wine, like a Pinot Grigio for example” the desk lady responded and said “oh we have a great Pinot Grigio that I would recommend if you want sweet wine”. I felt like no employee at this hotel cared to listen to what I said at all, over the entirety of the trip.
Ultimately, I feel like the customer service needs serious improvement and I won’t be staying here again until that change is made.
