Stay could’ve been better.

Highly disappointed. Received an email a week prior as a reminder. It stated indoor pool wasnt open. Called two days later to determine if this was accurate. Was informed it was a light maintenance and would be open by time of stay. When I arrived the staff was unaware of pool closures, but after asking manager confirmed it was closed. This ruined our trip as we intentionally choose a place with indoor pool and paid more for such. Additionally the remote didn’t work, tv was not a smart tv and there was no hdmi cord. After receiving a second remote it was clear the remote has 5 working buttons (power, channel up and channel down and volume). So guide isn’t an option nor is any streaming. Additionally on checking my reservation couldn’t be located, I had to go to my car for confirmation. Upon coming back in it was found.

The property is generally run down and dated. The bathroom door wouldn’t close unless you pushed it hard. The soap dispensers were not refilled daily. The room was not cleaned daily . The breakfast Buffett was not good and the coffee was bland . We will not be staying here again.

The pool area was covered in mold, pool was also freezing. The restaurant closed 1 hour and 20 minutes before the sign said both for dinner and for breakfast. Plus there were mice running all over the floor in the restaurant area. Room was clean, the staff was very kind.
