Room was kind of beat up, carpet was stained and damaged. They need to clean better behind the beds, lots of dust, candy wrappers, bottle caps, etc. had to call maintenance as the toilet got backed up and overflowed for some unknown reason.

Great location, walkable to what we wanted to do in Salem, MA. Although it was $25 a night, it was good to have our vehicle in a garage. Room was very clean and the included breakfast was welcome. The shower door would not stay all the way closed while taking a shower. It would slide open slightly.

Very Nice !
Staff was friendly & helpful. Valet parking was quick & the underground parking was a huge plus! Room was extremely clean . Beds were super comfortable. The only negative was there was no hand soap at the sink. ( we made do with the shower gel provided) & the charging ports were extremely & loose. We thought our phones were charging all night, nope. Ine we discovered it wasnt charging we fiddled with it . After being plugged in for a additional 2 hours the % only went up 5% . Other than that excellent!

perfect stay in salem
i loved the view, we could see town hall and a lot of salem, the sunsets were gorgeous! we were on a busy street that was well lit so could walk around easily, even at night, and could cut through the side street to get to essex street super fast!! plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, even things open late. it was helpful that we were across a starbucks too! the hotel itself was comfy, quiet, and nice.

Glad I picked this place for our first Salem visit! The property was beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Walking distance to everything in the town. Plenty of things to do and places to eat. Loved that at night you can only get in with your keycard and you have to use your keycard to get into the elevator which is a great safety feature. When ever we go back to Salem I would always stay at the Hampton! Thank you!

The hotel charge me twice for the room $4000.00 dollars and want refund it so I have filled a police complaint with the Salem police department and the manager is a complete fraud
