Untrained staff not familiar with Hotels.com

I booked on Hotels.com. Front desk agent did not understand pre-authorization & trued to double authorize charges. Was not given free water on arruval as a Bonvoy member. I had to ask about check out time and if there was a breakfast. Staff needs training. Even a 2nd make employee was confused on how to check me out. I worked 15 years in a hotel, checkout should take 2 minutes. The night auditor posts charges and bills cc. All you do is turn in keys and get a printed receipt.

Disgusting hotel- lucky my son had his inhaler

Asked for more pillows- got them. Should have inspected them before putting them on the bed. My son woke up in the middle of the night with his asthma acting up. He took his albuterol and went back to bed. The next morning we’re moving bedding to make sure we have everything. The pillowcase was covered in mold!!!! Absolutely disgusting. Wanted to tell someone at the front desk at checkout but no one was working the front desk!!! A woman from the cafe came over and told me she couldn’t print me a receipt or anything and no one was working that could.

Excellent Stay! Highly Recommend I recently stayed at Courtyard Boston Norwood, and it exceeded all my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The location was perfect—close to all the key attractions yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s rest.

Was told parking wasn't included even though it was inlcuded per booking. Lady at check in didn't believe me and said they never had that as an option through Expedia. Had to open up the app to prove it. Server did a no call, no show so they didn't have breakfast available. They didn't even have coffee set up in the lobby.

Poor hotel

Construction was blocking the handicap access to the main entrance. Key cards for any door (rooms or outside doors) struggled to work on the first attempt, sometimes on the 10th attempt, or even at all.

Stupid fee loses a customer

Hotel is in poor overall shape. Dingy throughout. The kicker is the $10 parking charge surprise when u arrive. This is not a downtown property. This a property with a dumpster blocking the front entrance in a business park! A parking charge in a business park in a suburb. The charge is minimal but for a property like this is ridiculous. We won’t use a courtyard ever again-the bait and switch is too much to ignore.
