Arriving early, my room was ready; however, it was a room facing the busy street, with an entry facing common shared areas with high traffic. As a single woman, I did not want an area with limited privacy; worse yet, an area with internal and external access to many- as well as noisy. Ben, at check in, easily resolved the situation without disregard. Alba at housekeeping welcomed me as I took the elevator. The staff and location make Copley Square Hotel a welcoming and safe place. Thank you.

Worst hotel ever, avoid at all cost

Staff was great but the general manager is just horrible. First night, I was taking a shower and the tub started to back flow. All the disgusting goo from the stuck pipe started to back flow into the tub so I had to finish my shower with all the nasty stuff . They got someone to come and try to clean it. The guy tried for some time and poured bleach and other stuff down the pipes trying to dissolve what ever was stuck there. They didn’t have another room available so the whole night, the room smelled of bleach. The next morning , I brought up the issue with the General Manager, showing him videos of the whole thing and explaining the situation. His attitude was close to “It’s not my problem” and said he will investigate the situation and get back to me. Absolutely no contact from him for the remaining two days and NO sorry or any sort of compensation what so ever. The attitude and verbal exchange was absolutely frustrating.

Great day! The location of this hotel is perfectly positioned to walk through most of the neighborhoods of Boston! My husband and I had plenty of room, comfortable, comfy bed, and very quiet experience! Great for a long weekend together!

Good location a block behind Copley Square, near Back Bay Station and Public Library, lots of shops and places to eat. Friendly welcome and appreciated being able to check in early. Spacious room with simple decor and good storage. Good sized bathroom with shower (a bit feeble) over bath and nice toiletries. Hotel doesn’t have any facilities but central location close to everything you need. Bit better value than many hotels in the area. (Not important, but please sort out the tv wires in the room I stayed in which were worse than the picture shows!).

The location was perfect with a parking garage right across the street. The room was spacious with a desk and lounge chairs allowed us to do a bit of work. The decor was tasteful particularly appreciated the art work on display. Of course , loved the cappuccino machine in the kitchen as well

The staff is excellently courteous and acomodating. I would start her again. Room the king was clean and spacious. There’s a microwave and coffee and vending machines. I got complementary water bottles which came in handy. Overall the staff was great and hotel was in the middle of everything.

Horrible! Don’t waste your money.

The room was tiny and only had a queen size bed. The room was suffocating and the AC did not work. Tried to open a window and it shut immediately. Finally had to prop it up to get any air. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we were sweating most of the night even though it was in the 40’s outside. It was a relief to finally get outside. The bathroom was horrible and you had to step down into a deep bathtub to shower. Not safe at all. And the paint was 6 layers thick and there was a soft spot on the floor by the bathroom like there had been a leak. Not worth the money and probably won’t stay at another Found location.

great location, consistent.

I like the Copley Square hotel, it is consistent and in a great location. Unfortunately, The elevators are broken every time I am there (1) so that is a bit inconvenient. Also, our bathroom this time was so small hard to get ready. I wish there was a bit more lighting in the room too. I do appreciate though the magnifying makeup mirror. Again, I like this hotel, it could use a bit of updating.
