The property was located within a short walking distance to Fenway Park, Isabella Gardner Museum and a ton of restaurants/bars! We requested an early check-in with they made very easy! I would recommend Maverick Suites!

Check in confusion
No check in directions until I called numerous times. It’s unsettling to be on a train to your destination not knowing how to check in just hours before arrival. This was during an intense heat wave and I was very worried about having to wait around on the street with luggage, etc. for check in instructions.
Clean and great location. Deluxe Suite was nice. Sometimes could hear people and trucks in alleyway but it wasn’t a problem. It’s a city.

It was very nice, clean and easy to access. Communication was not great - only email. My room was on the first floor with an alley view. I was woken up at 5am from garbage trucks and the like every morning. I guess that was why they left earplugs on the bed table.
For a one night stay it’s just exactly what you’re looking for. However the place felt deserted with their “virtual lobby”
The 4pm sharp check in time was dangerous being stuck outside during a +100° heat wave until the locks allowed for the front door code to take. Regardless of weather, you’re going to be stuck outside.
There was also no WiFi. Well maybe but there was never anything listed in the unit or lobby for what the guest password was. There was no response either from the phone number they provided to call or text for assistance for something as simple as getting on their WiFi. Where my unit was it was a cellular dead zone and couldn’t get internet unless I was outside making plans in Boston difficult.
The Maverick Suites was within walking distance of everything I wanted to do during my stay in Boston.

Great location and room. Communication is lacking.
We went for an overnight stay to go to a Red Sox game. We got there a little early and were able to sit in the beautiful lobby while we waited for check-in. Getting into the building was a slight hassle. They had sent a pre-check in form, but it didn’t come to my actual email. Fortunately, I was able to get someone on the phone to resend it to the proper address. She also unlocked the doors so we could get into the building before check-in. Because it is advertised as a hotel, I was somewhat surprised that there was nobody in the building to help with issues. I had to send messages for any questions, some of which were never resolved (like getting the TV to work). If I had known this is not run as traditional hotel I probably would have booked at an somewhere else, even if it had been a few blocks farther away from the park. I just think there is a benefit to having someone on the building or at least in the vicinity to provide customer service.
It is a beautiful building and was very close to Fenway.
Lace was immaculate! I hope the service people make a living wage, because they deserve it! Spotless! The room was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely return!

Well located, clean short term residence.
Nice basic, well maintained, unattended property. Lots of issues with front door reliable access and refrigerators ought to have ice trays. But, we'd stay again due to great location.
The building was awesome.
The room was clean and pleasent to the eye.
But the room we got was too small for 2 people.
We are in our 70s and the bed is up against the wall which makes it difficult for that person to get in and out of bed easily without disrupting their partner.
So fine for one person but for an older couple its a little challenging.

Wi-Fi was spotty at best
Never got TV to work. Contacted property 3 times no response
Everything was pretty much perfect! We saw a baseball game it’s about a 5 minute walk from Fenway and other shopping/restaurants. Only thing I would change is larger towels and a few more towels/face cloths in the room.
Parking was a struggle. But everything else was perfect. The bed was comfortable; the room clean; and the building quiet.

Our room had no chair or table, a real drawback as we had evening zoom meetings. They had a coffee maker, but drinking in bed? Putting on shoes?
There’s no front desk so nowhere to check luggage if you arrive before 4 pm. We did manage to check in early after back and forth with their remote manager and several door code resets.

Not sure where to start. First, the check in and code thing was easy. However, Earplugs provided in the room should have been the first sign I was in for a noisy night. Walls and floors are not insulated properly. The hot water in the evening took 4-6 minutes of running before it warmed up. Lastly, my room had a smoke detector with a very bright LED light that would blink every 4 seconds and lit up tge room like a strobe-light in the dark room. For the high price I paid I expected more. Boston is always expensive but this experience was not worth it for me. It is rare for me to take the time to do reviews but felt this info should be made aware to others.
