They gave us a room that was supposed to be non-smoking, but the room smelled like smoke very badly it was hard to breathe. The door wouldn't open properly and had a mark on the floor where the door was pressed open so many times it carved an arch in the carpet. The carpet was also extremely dirty and stained. I looked in the bed and it also appeared dirty. I went to ask for a nonsmoking room since I could not breathe in there, but I was told there was nothing left at the hotel and they would send someone to air out the room. I went back to the room and now my wife had found bugs in the tracks above the drapes. I was also scratching my legs each time I entered the room and later found flea bites on my legs and arms. When I went down to tell them about the bugs and that we were ready to leave, I was finally given another room. The 2nd room was much better, but there was no air conditioning the entire time we were there. It was so hot it was hard to sleep and we were sweating the entire time. We spent the entire 2nd day out of the room just so we would not have to be in there coming back only to sleep. I have to say this was the first time I ever had where I could not wait to leave a hotel. I had picked this hotel over another one even though it cost more because I thought it would be a great way to end my vacation with an upgrade, but what happened made the end of my vacation very upsetting and wished I had not made this switch.

The room was dirty. No extra pillows. Very hot. Could not sleep because of heat. Air conditioning was turned off for the rest of the season even though it was summer like weather. Air was available at other hotels we stayed at on our trip.

Definitely recommended! Restaurant on site was so convenient. English-speaking staff made our stay easy. Wonderful to provide a shuttle service to the airport.

The hotel was nice enough but inconvenient. It was supposed to be close to the airport but 1.5 K away and un walkable. Their shuttle doesn’t run for 6 hours in the afternoon so I had to take a 12 euro taxi. Also I had the worst pizza I ever had in Italy, like a frozen pizza.

Great hotel. Very beautiful. We only stayed one night before our flight home. Hotel isn't close to anything, but the front desk was able to call us a taxi to go down to the city center. We would stay there again and recommend.

Location is great because it is near the airport. That is the only thing going for it. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but it is not marked so you have no way to find it. Wallpaper is coming off the walls in the hallways. Dining room does not open until 7:30 PM. Therefore, there is a line waiting to get in. Maybe if they open 1/2 hour earlier, the service would be better.

The stay was good overall. We were disappointed as the shuttle wasn’t available when we arrived in Bologna which we were not aware of. We had to get a taxi instead. Expedia didn’t explain this well enough. The staff were exceptional.

You have to arrive via some sort or vehicle, they provide a limited shuttle service from the Airport, despite only being a 8min drive from the airport you cannot walk .. the local taxi do not want the short fare to drop you off .. dreadful driver and shuttle bus drops you at a super long program to check in to be charged a city tax !! Bearing in mind the are many kilometre outside of the city and then only laugh at you while they tell you that they don’t know why they still charge.. very dated !! Rooms and restaurant ! Dreadful service in restaurant.. bathroom basin was blocked and smelled with no change points to be found anywhere! My first stay and very much my last .

The staff are lovely and the hotel looks fine on the surface, but the furniture in our room was broken, the shower didn’t work and the breakfast was really not good. It had a very odd taste out of both machines and the selection was more limited than most breakfast, we had in Italy.

Big hotel, with good food and drink but it was just too far away from any stores or services, would have to get a shuttle bus to and from hotel to airport. Still if your looking for a quick stop before travelling or inbetween flights it is perfect for it.

The place needs updating. Old carpets etc. The most overwhelming thing is throughout the whole facilit there’s some sort of chemical smell or a cleaner with a strong fragrance. It was overwhelming. So much so we needed to open sleep with the balcony door wide open.
