Our room was over a dirty noisy ally. Otherwise the room was nice although a little small. Great shower! I think I would prefer a room at the opposite end of the building, over Grove St. Bed was very comfortable, but the ally was too noisy. The cafe downstairs needs to have another employee. Too busy for just one person. The breakfast food was good when we finely got it.

They don't service regularly and even when I requested, they didn't take out garbage. That's a basic courtesy. Also, very disappointed about 3-5am garbage pickup, their windows aren't insulated well. Avoid it.

Easy to walk many places from this hotel. The Sparrow is new and clean but the rooms lack many things I would consider essential in a hotel room. For example, there is no closet, no dresser, no drawers for storage, no mirrors outside of the bathroom. And maybe there was information about an additional parking fee each night but that was not very clear until we arrived and at that point, you are a captive audience.

Such a good location! We loved the fact that we parked when we checked in and could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. There was a minor hiccup at check-in (accidentally gave us the wrong room number) and they were so apologetic & even brought us a treat later that night to apologize again. There is a coffee shop attached to the main lobby and for us that was a huge win! The property itself was clean and well maintained. We loved the huge walk in shower and overall setup of the room. We stay in Boise every spring. This was our first time staying here but we will definitely book again.

Location is excellent! Wonderful steakhouse across the street and within walking distance of downtown! Safe, clean and friendly staff. Room was clean, water was HOT (preferred by me) and beds were very comfortable! Would stay again! Highly recommend!

Cute property, great location. Staff was nice and friendly. We did wake up to someone vacuuming the hallway at 8 am. Parking is a problem especially if you drive a vehicle taller than 6 feet. I know it’s not their fault, but the construction right next door is definitely a bit of an issue.
