2 of 3 electrical sockets did not work and 2 of 2 USB ports did not work. The front door of room would not close unless you slammed it shut. I did not realize this until the morning when a housekeeper knocked on door to tell me it was open all night while I slept. This is a huge security risk. No one at the hotel seemd worried when I told them about these issues.

Solid choice for a comfortable, no fuss stay in Bogota Review of Fairfield By Marriott Bogota Embajada It had all the hallmarks of a reliable Fairfield property—clean rooms, decent breakfast, and polite, efficient service. While not a luxury hotel, it delivered exactly what I needed: a comfortable, safe place to rest after long days exploring. Hotel Experience: The hotel shares an entrance area with the Wyndham. Once inside, check-in was smooth and quick, with helpful, competent staff. The room itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with two recliners. The bed was very firm. There was a fridge but no complimentary water, so grabbing a bottle at the airport or a local store is a good idea. No ice dispensers nearby either. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent. However, the TV was disappointing—very few English channels beyond CNN, and while streaming services like Netflix were supposedly available, I couldn’t figure out how to access them. A practical feature, the shower control was on the wall opposite the showerhead, allowing you to adjust the water temperature without getting wet. Breakfast was included, but it was more functional than exciting. Offerings included eggs, breads, cereals, juice, and fruit. After the first morning, I mostly stuck to fruit and croissants. The staff were polite, efficient, and helpful.

The property was convenient to shopping, a pharmacy, and many dining options. However the breakfast food included in the package was fantastic. The staff was attentive and smiling all the time. The transportation dept. helped us see some properties we were interested in. The room was always clean and fresh towels delivered.

Don't bother, cheaper, better hotels elsewhere

There are other nicer hotels in Bogota that cost less. The design of the bathroom is terrible, there are blinking alarm lights in the room and lots of light is permitted underneath the door. Offices have a direct view into half of the rooms. The breakfast, however, was great as were the staff serving it. Unfortunately, as an American chain hotel, there is still plenty of single use plastic in use.
