The people were great, but the hotel is old and the room is showing the age. The location is very centric, near the National Museum. The provide with transportation to and from the airport, odd hours picking up from the airport, and pair hours picking up from the hotel.

2 electric sockets in the room did not worked, one lamp did not worked. the view was awesome for the price, super good. the staff was always super good, available, aproachable and very nice. the breakfast and food in general was 10/10 super good. The surroundings were kind of scary, though nothing will happen as long as you are always aware of your surroundings and never get distracted on the phone. it was good that there was heavy police presence in the area but it was scary some restaurants even have their doors locked until they see you and open for you to enter and lots of beggars that will try to convince you with some tragedy story to get money.

I really love the art deco design of the lobby. The Junior suites are a bargain and have been renovated. The old furniture has been restored and reupholstered. The staff is wonderful.

I did call the hotel for the airport transfer, and they want to charge me $110,000 Colombia pesos around $28.00 dollars, so I called an Uber for only $50,000 ($13.00 dollars) then I have to take a uber back to the airport because the hotel shuttle doesn't start after 10am, really? The property is an old construction, but it looks good, clean and nice, it has a nice view from your room, but the rooms need a complete upgrade. the surrounding areas is not safe at night, we were not able to walk out after 6pm, it feels like the hotel is not safe ether because the property staff advice you to close the room door using every lock available, don't open the door without verified who is calling and there is a security staff in several areas in the hotel. we didn't have any problem walking out during the day but at night when we need to stay inside was not amenities in the hotel.

Nice, older hotel but sketchy area
I'm the first to admit you can't pick an entire hotel up and move it to a better neighborhood. So I think this hold has some old school charm and you get decent value for what you pay, but there are other hotels for the same money or less in better areas. Just be aware that after dark you may not want to wander far from the property. That being said, the rooms are large and we'll appointed, and the bed was comfortable. I stayed here for the first night I was in Bogotá and it served its purpose - to help me get acquainted and get some rest after a long day of travelling.

El personal es muy amable. Está bien ubicado para hacer diligencias del gobierno. En el día hay mucho movimientos y servicios cercanos. En el centro si es un poco solo más hay mucha seguridad por lo q lo sentí como un lugar seguro. El desayuno es muy completo
