Booked this based on the 8.2/10 rating. Big mistake. To be fair, I don’t care about a place being dated as I was just passing through, but it was filthy. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, mystery stain on the bathroom wall, dirty walls in the rest of the room, etc. The bed was so uncomfortable that sleep was limited, and I don’t want to even think about what is on the fabric headboard. That being said, check in was easy and the person who checked us in was friendly. The bottle of water in the room was appreciated. Overall, if you are stuck for a place to stay in Blind River, I recommend sleeping in your car over staying here.

The floor was very dirty. I don’t think it was swept or washed for a long time. Our feet were black from walking in it. We had to wear our shoes the whole time. The bathroom was very small and had no counter space.

Room was updated. Bathroom was clean but missing amenities. Air conditioner couldn't maintain temperature. Overall a decent place to stay while passing thru.

This was our second time staying at this motel. Staff is super friendly, rooms are clean but a little dated. It’s a small town so you’re close to everything. Will probably book again!
