We had an unforeseen incident and could not make it to the hotel for our reservation. Expedia staff reached out (unprompted by me) to see if the hotel would be gracious and offer a refund in light of the extenuating circumstance. The hotel manager declined to do so, which was within their rights, but still disappointing.

Great location. Clean and tidy. Staff were very kind and helpful. Walking distance to castle and other amenities. Food and service was good. Rooms were pretty hot/humid however they did have fans available.

Very nice feel to hotel except room was very warm

Hotel was very close to the Blarney Castle which was a pleasant surprise. We didn't try out the hotel or village restaurants because we wanted to explore Cork a bit before we moved on to our next stop in the morning. It took us about 15+ minutes to get into Cork. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately...our room was on the backside (224) and it warmed up quite a bit with the unexpected sunny days. The sheer curtains did not allow much air flow so we clipped them open and used a fan to attempt some kind of air exchange once the temperature was cooler outside. We managed to eventually get the room cooled down but we don't know how bearable it would have been during summer heat. Very comfortable sleep and great shower. We would come back again...and hope for a room that does not warm up too much. FYI...there was no fridge in our room so we had to find ice for our fruit, etc.

All good. Room had a shower in the bath rather than a standalone shower, which would have been easier. Breakfast was good but a bit slow as I suspect they had agreed to let a tour group in early for breakfast.

The stay was very good and a great location. However the breakfast is very poor and not as described in the menu. Greasy. Takes ages to get coffee. No pots . Just fill your cup when they feel like it
