I had an urgent family emergency and had to drive back to Fargo the night I was meant to stay at ES, and they refused to refund my room. I always choose to stay with them when I travel to Bismarck, unfortunately, I'll be looking for a hotel that has better ethics and cares about their customers more. Really disappointing.

The apartment complex behind the hotel seemed a little sketchy. There was a giant pothole in the back of the lot on the way out! That needs to be addressed

The rooms are clean with a nice sitting area in addition to the sleeping area. They have walk in showers which is appreciated. The lobby has a nice bar and breakfast room. The hotel is convenient to freeways and downtown.

We got in quite late. The check in was fast and easy. We lucked iut the bar tender was willing to give us a small bottle (1 1/2 glasses) of wine. It was a perfect end to a long day of travel.

Seems like the property was redone recently. The room we had was painted but there were places where the old paint was visible. The bed was very nice. Elevator was very small, and breakfast options were very limited. Would recommend getting breakfast from somewhere else instead.
