Great place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay, staff were lovely, was very clean and comfortable, the restaurant has great food and the beer garden was beautiful - very well cared for with pretty flowers. Great spot, will 100% be going back.

Great Place To Stay

I chose the hotel as it wasn't too far from the NEC and was much more reasonably priced. We arrived in the evening after working an event, and were checked in by a friendly staff member. The room we were given was opposite the beer garden of the connecting pub, which was loud, but the garden seemed to close around 10pm, so it was forgivable; though if I stayed again, I'd definitely request to be put on the opposite side because it was a bit fish bowl like as the benches were almost right outside our window, so we had to keep the curtains closed. The bed was comfortable, so sleeping wasn't an issue when we settled down. We didn't actually spend all that long there as we had to check out very early the next morning to go back to work. From what we did experience, it was very adequate for what we needed. Though, the room could do with a little bit of TLC, as there was damage to the back of the bathroom door and some mould in the shower.

Nice buildings, excellent friendly staff, very good food for evening meal and the room was good untill you went into the bathroom which had mould on the silicone, a cracked toilet pan and a smashed shower surround. A shame about this as the rest of the break was spot on. Thank you.

The property is getting a little bit tired now, however, it's relatively cheap to stay and very convenient for the NEC. Food is good and staff very helpful with easy to follow procedures. Countryside and views are amazing, considering it's on a main road. Bathrooms could also do with a bit of an upgrade, but overall, good place to stay.
