It seems that rich investors from third world countries who purchase hotel properties from Wyndham bring family and friends from these third world countries to manage the hotels. These people rarely speak English and have no knowledge of the area around the hotels. Ask the person at reception to recommend a nice restaurant expect a blank stare and an answer "I no from here I do not know!" Hot buffet breakfast??? White bread with a toaster. I suppose in that third world country where people are very poor Toasted bread would be a luxury to enjoy? Wyndham name is being dragged into the dirt by employing these tactics. I will always choose Choice Hotels for my next stay.

The stay was good. It met my needs. The shuttle service supposedly started early in the morning. I went down about 5am. The lady at check in locked everything up and drove me.

We got a room here to stay 2 nights as we had a concert in Birmingham, the first night was alright. When we got there we had to wait an extra hour to even get our room. The hallways smelt funny and a fire alarm went off at 3am for no reason. That following morning they shut off hour keys to our room as they were moving us for no reason. The room they moved us to was worse then our previous room as the microwave didnt work and the remote to the tv was nowhere to be seen. Also we had asked for a fork and they just shut us down without even helping.

I enjoyed feeling safe despite the outer appearance of the building and how the scenery felt a bit too quiet. The beds were comfortable and clean although the room was a bit outdated. You can tell they are making changes with new appliances and decor I was only there for a night the shower worked fine . Air worked for a good hot day. Staff was informative and I did receive my deposit back in a timely manner.

The room was decent. The deal breaker was the fact they only open the pool at 4pm which is ridiculous. They might as well shut it down and stop lying about having a pool. You have to get a ticket for breakfast so the food is limited as well. I will give them this though, it’s tough to beat the price for a clean room.

The pool was closed for cleaning, but wasn't ever clean. The whole hotel had an institutional feel to it. Police was in the lobby when we returned from a concert talking to an intoxicated man. Just felt overall unsafe. The parking lot was gross and dirty.

Will NEVER stay here again! AWEFUL!!!
This hotel needs new employees for starters. The lady in the kitchen for breakfast was rude and couldnt speak any english. They couldn't ever give me wash cloths when askes they were always out, had to bathe with a giant towel. And they STOLE from us! They accused us of smoking in the room and not to mention the whole 4th floor smelled like smoke.

I don't usually leave reviews but in this case I hope it helps someone make a decision NOT to stay here! Moldy and outdated, terrible customer service, room too hot due to AC not working ( they told us " it's hot outside too"), breakfast is not as advertised and make sure you bring a ticket ( need to get it from the front desk), pool is there but closed most of the time ( maybe opened from 5 to 7 pm when no one needs to use it), outside smellws like piss. Plus, window had nasty windows and bathroom fan wasn't working, no coffee or water in the lobby ( it was out but no one cared to replace it even after being asked plz). only one positive thing was that bed was comfy 😁
