I like the Malmaison style...but...

I enjoy Malmaison! I like the style, the friendliness of staff, facilities, the difference. Couple of comments for my stay on this occasion: bar was rammed late in the evening and it took 10/15 minutes to get served. More staff should have been allocated. And a Malmaison issue that becomes worse for those of us getting on a bit: the signage for such things as the floor directory in the lift and room numbers on the doors...style over substance! Some things need to be easily read. Otherwise, very good all round.

Having a shared deluxe double room was the perfect thing for an away night with my friend. Plenty of room for both of us and once we got our bearings it was really well located for access to shops restaurants and the Utilila Arena

very comfy bed, good large bathroom and good shower. Room very dark, corridors very dark, reception very dark. Must just be the look they're wanting. Bar good, and happy hour 3 to 7 was a nice surprise. I didnt have breakfast, but my colleagues didn't rate it highly for the money.
