Though it is a simple hotel accommodation, it serves the needs of most guests for all sorts of visits to the city. The location is excellent except the pedestrian tunnel is fifthly and imposes safety threat.The electronic door key card is terrible.

My child's bedlinen had not been changed from the previous guests and had faeces on it. Was given an email to contact to complain but have neveb even received an acknowledgement.

Pocket-friendly hotel

Towels were changed daily by house-keeping. Quiet area, about 15 mins walk from New Street Station. Parking is £8 for 24 hrs.

Basic but clean and good value

Booked an extra night which was easy to do at reception. very pleased with check in and helpfulness of staff here. Breakfast was ok, just continental, but good value. Room was fine, maybe a little small, but clean and tidy. No plugs near the bed, but plenty on the desk by the TV.

Pleasant Stay

This hotel with very reasonable priced parking offers basic accommodation, within a 15 minute walk of new street railway station. (easily located). Staff very approachable and i was treated to one of the refurbished rooms with a new mattress (on floor 1). I booked an additional night, and didn't expect my room to be cleaned, but it was. A big thanks to JOYCE for doing a great job. Continental Breakfast was a nice start to the day too. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and close enough to the city centre to not be worried unless heavy rain !!

The hotel was lovely but the downside is there is no kettle in the room. It’s clean and tidy. The breakfast is only a continental breakfast. You can buy tea or coffee from the machine for £2.50. It is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for.
