Upon check in we found our room was locked from the inside. I waited in the hall for 45 minutes before going to the desk and asking for a new room. We dropped our bags and went to the beach. Once back in our 2nd room. we discovered BED BUGS!!!!!!! again I was moved to another room and told the manager would call me the next day. I had to go to the desk and ask for the manager she knew nothing about my troubles. She stated she would refund my trip...... still not refunded!

It’s time for an upgrade. The hotel is in desperate need of renovations. The room wasn’t the cleanest. The furniture is dated and has a lot of wear and tear on it.

Hotel was very nice. We got an upgrade to a penthouse due to overbooking so that was a nice surprise. Only down size is we had to pay extra for parking which is not common for a hotel in Birmingham, Alabama.

Very convenient to all your needs, clean, and staff friendly. Only downfall was chrging $22 daily for self parking. Other than that everything was perfect!

Everything was good, rooms were a little outdated. There was some type of fire or something and we weren't notified so that was a little scary to learn the following day by some of the parents staying there the next morning.
