While the staff was excellent, the hotel could use a lot of maintenance attention. Using my 5G LTE was 5 times faster than the hotel's WiFi, the tub stopper would not work, I had to use a bathcloth wrapped around it, the shade on the floor lamp next to the couch would fall off since it was missing its anchor nut. The AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy when the compressor came on. And the worst was how uncomfortable the bed was. I know these things are small things, except the bed and the AC noise, but it did make our stay unpleasent.

Very secure, nice, well appointed rooms. Check in was challenging, the person who assisted us was fine but not terribly helpful. This is a confusing place (access to the secure parking lot and access to hotel once you've self parked) and the person who checked us in could have done a much better job directing us.

The service was great and everyone was friendly. The room was in good condition but not as new as expected. They claimed the room had an oven, but it didn't. So we packed food that we couldn't properly cook. The honors app didn't work on our room door. The pool was horrible. It was indoor, but unheated. The water was so foggy that we couldn't see to the bottom. This isn't a deep pool. 5ft max. It was foggy in the 3ft area. A big clump of hair floating in it. We told the front desk and the next day it was draining. When it was filled up again it was still foggy and unheated. This stay was not bad, but not as good as I had expected.

Breakfast was great. The room was great except for the two roaches in the kitchenette. The parking situation is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered in connection with a hotel stay anywhere. $25/night, off property, dirty, dark, and super sketchy.

The desk staff were excellent. A very convenient location. The hotel itself is showing a lack of proper maintenance. The only chair was uncomfortable. The tub stopper didn’t work. The shade on the floor lamp next to the couch was missing its holder. No bath mat. No regular coffee in the room. Tilt for the TV would have helped for viewing. A very noisy refrigerator. The bed was only comfortable on one side.

My family and I were there for a volleyball tournament this past weekend. I didn't like that I had to pay for parking there was only one parking spot per room, so if you had more than one vehicle , which was our situation you had to park additional vehicles around the corner. Which was very inconvenient besides that my stay was great

There were lots of places to eat, mom and pop shops. It was close to the event I was attending. Pool and free breakfast. The ladies were very helpful in finding me some safety pins to hold my formal gown off the ground. Thank you so much! Only issue was Expedia has the address missing the S for south. The uber took me all the way out of Birmingham and then turned around to go downtown. It cost me time and money.

Specifically stayed for the pool with three kids. It was so cold they couldn’t go in. The kids slept on the pull out couch and it was one of the worst I’ve ever seen! Very disappointed in this hotel! No attempt to compensate.
