Great location for bp pulse & lovely staff

Staff were lovely and friendly, especially on check in. We were there for our wedding anniversary and to see Craig David which were gifted. They did say we were upgraded from a king to exec room and as lovely and spacious. However, it did have some hand prints on the windows and looked out to lots of cigarette butts/no view which was a little bit of a let down. No mini bar or fridge. We stayed for lunch and found expensive for what we got. 2 burgers, a glass of wine and coke for £60 considering ordering at bar. (Couldnt put items on room as that broken so needed to go back upstairs to take card despite taking a preauth on arrival to charge to room) The breakfast was lovely and nice to have salad option's as my husband is turkish and prefers continental over a standard english breakfast. I loved the eco touches in the hotel and refillable shampoo/conditioners (although one did come off the wall when i went to use it) Location it was perfect from birmingham train station (10 min walk through nec) and the BP pulse live venue 5 mins walk. The bar after the concert was busy and the queue could have been better organised and service could have been quicker/more staff anticipating the finish time. Overall it was lovely. We didnt pay to use the pool but it looked nice to have a relax.

My partner and I stayed here Saturday through to Sunday to watch Craig David at the BP pulse live. After doing a bit of research so glad we stayed at the Hilton. Upon arrival, parking was very easy to navigate. We checked in and was informed to book dinner reservations and swimming pool reservations which I think helped us secure on the Sunday a swimming slot at 10 o’clock, which was a perfect time and not many people were using their facilities. We was not able to book into their restaurant for dinner, but we went to the nearby restaurants close to BP pulse live venue. We stayed in room 4097 and was overlooking the car park very nice room the bed was amazingly comfy, and stylish. Parking is £16 for overnight stays. Staff were all very helpful, polite and professional. Breakfast was amazing . A large variety of options . All the coffees hot chocolate juices . Cooked breakfast, porridge, cereals and Pastries. Stylish decor throughout and very pleased we stay at the Hilton for our weekend getaway. We used the pool the following day on check out and had full use of the steam room, sauna,pool and jets . Manage to get a sun lounger and was very relaxed afterwards. The only point I’d recommend them adding was shampoo and conditioner as they didn’t have these in the showers just body wash which was lovely Crabtree brand smells amazing! Part from that had hair dryers and towels to use for free . Would recommend and stay again.

Unfortunately the pool was closed due to technical issues, some of the staff seemed like they didn’t know how things worked at the hotel (possibly new starters) other than that a pleasant stay Bar prices are maybe a tad higher than expected
