Really impressed with this hotel! The room was clean, in particular the bathroom, and the breakfast was lovely considering it was included in the price. Nice staff on check in and at breakfast, however gentleman at check out wasn’t very helpful when I asked where the taxi could pick me up from as on broad street taxi’s cannot stop. He was very unhelpful and just pointed in a direction I needed to walk which was unappreciated given that I’m 8 months pregnant and it was pouring with rain. I would however not let this ruin my experience and would stay again if I needed to.

We checked in quite late ( about 830pm ) and the guy who checked us in ( I didn't ask for his name 🤦😬 ) is super friendly and even had a great chat with my 5 years old 😁☺️ Easy parking, amazing breakfast, super friendly and amazing customer service! Couldn't recommend more!!

Really disappointing
Arrived around 11.40pm, checked in and went to room to find one double bed and an armchair (we booked a double and a single for 3 people). Went back down to reception to be told the chair needs pulling out and they would send someone up. I told them the chair does not look like a pull out but was abruptly and dismissively told it would - I went back to the room thinking maybe they know something I don’t. Could them see it definitely wasn’t a pull out, just a chair with four legs and waited 15 minutes for the manage lr to come, he didn’t. Went back to reception to be told (before I even spoke) that they were busy, only the receptionist and manager on and we would have to wait. I showed the picture and said I would rather wait for them to sort a new room which had a bed for my 12 year old than wait for the manager to come and see the problem and then wait for them to sort a new room. After waiting for the manager to sort a new room, we were taken up and the pullout bed needed to be pulled out, the main bed needed to be made and pillows/bedding was needed for the pull out. Waited in the hall way whilst the manager sorted the room and he said after asking if we had paid for parking that he would refund the parking. Asked at reception in the morning to be told there was a note saying parking was complimentary. I explained and showed on my phone that we had already paid to which she said she wouldn’t know if it had been refunded or no with no effort to find out. Not been refunded?
